ASTA has partnered with the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals to provide expanded educational opportunities and resources for members of both organizations.

ASTA members will get access to more destination wedding and romance travel training, in addition to tools that will help grow their businesses.

The Society said the partnership will also grant the organization additional exposure to travel advisors who are already selling destination weddings but aren't yet ASTA members.

Additionally, the IADWP has close relationships with tourism boards and other industry players in Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Mexico, strengthening ASTA's presence there.

IADWP members, in turn, will gain access to expanded professional development opportunities and more engagement with travel advisors.

"Destination weddings and romance travel represent a high-value, high-touch segment of our industry," ASTA president and CEO Zane Kerby said in a release. "By partnering with IADWP, we are giving travel advisors the tools, insights and connections they need to succeed while delivering unforgettable experiences for their clients."
