Travel advisors have booked more than $3 billion in sales with Expedia year to date.

Expedia Group's B2B business, which includes its Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP), had an "exceptional" third quarter, with bookings up 26% year over year, CEO Ariane Gorin said during Expedia's Q3 earnings call.

Gorin said it was the 17th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth in the B2B business.

"Specifically in our travel agency business, we've grown the number of agencies we work with, expanded our agent loyalty program and added features like new payment options, all of which have contributed to over $3 billion in bookings year to date," Gorin said.

Expedia will continue to invest in its B2B business, the CEO added.
