Grand Velas Riviera Maya has expanded its spa and salon offering to its youngest guests: kids.
The Jungle Kids Spa promises a salon experience for travelers ages 5 to 12 years old in a playful environment with murals, music and self-care inspired by Pancho, the resort's monkey mascot, and the Mayan jungle.
The kid-friendly spa offers children's manicures and pedicures, massages, facial treatments, creative hairstyling and a space for kids to relax and connect with each other. The spa is separate from the kids and teens clubs, which were redesigned and relaunched last summer.

The menu includes a Sweet Dreams Massage for the head, neck and back and the Chill Out Foot Massage with pressure-point therapy and scented foot scrubs, both priced at $105 for 30 minutes or $193 for 60 minutes. Facials are offered to cater to different needs, like the Purely Degunked Facial for deep cleansing and the Hydration Cascade for moisture-boosting, both priced at $149 for 45 minutes or $193 for 60 minutes.
Manis and pedis range from 30-minute treatments for younger children, at $105, to 45-minute treatments for older kids, at $149, including nail shaping, scrubs, polish applicatio, and sticker accents. Hair services include braids and updos with glitter and ribbons and a wash and style. The spa also offers colorful drinks and healthy snacks. Each young guest will recieve a FarmHouse Fresh spa product kit to take home.
The Jungle Kids Spa also offers party packages for groups to combine multiple services.
This is one of several recent expansions from Grand Velas. The Riviera Nayarit location in Puerto Vallarta recently renovated its suites as part of a $30 million project.
