MSC Cruises' private destination in the Bahamas, Ocean Cay, will be able to support two ships simultaneously by the end of 2027. The cruise line is extending the pier to increase capacity.
MSC also is making a variety of additions to the island experience. Four new dining venues are in the works, one of which will be a specialty restaurant.

A new adults-only area called Paradise Sands is in MSC's plans, too.. The cruise line described it as a retreat, and renderings show rows of beach loungers and several cabanas.
The Seakers Cove family beach area will be enhanced with new features for children. including a playground, splash pad, ropes course, ping pong and foosball.
MSC will also add more varied cabanas throughout Ocean Cay and introduce an immersive marine conservation program.
Construction on the extended pier is underway and expected to be complete in late 2027.
