Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced plans for a third Prestige-class ship, anticipating continued growth for the better part of the next decade.

The ship is scheduled to debut in 2033 and will be built by Fincantieri. The first ship in the class, Seven Seas Prestige, is expected to debut in December 2026, with the second slated to follow in 2030.

Regent is undergoing a "measured, strategic expansion," said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Regent's parent company.

The cruise line did not share specifics of the newly announced ship. The Seven Seas Prestige will be 77,000 tons, 40% larger than the Seven Seas Splendor, the next-largest ship in the cruise line's fleet. The Seven Seas Prestige will feature the Skyview Regent Suite, touted as the largest aboard an ultra-luxury ship.
