Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas has double downed on its long-term effort to fight human trafficking.

New signs emphasizing the anti-trafficking message, "I am not a souvenir," are posted throughout the airport, the nation's eighth busiest by passenger traffic.

"By placing these messages where thousands of travelers pass every hour, we can help increase the likelihood that someone will recognize a warning sign or reach out for assistance," said James C. Chrisley, Clark County director of aviation. "Our goal is to ensure that resources and support are visible and available."

The airport was among the first U.S. airports to display human trafficking awareness signs in all bathroom stalls. Employees and airport partners are provided training to identify potential indicators of human trafficking and to take appropriate action when concerns arise.

Individuals who believe they are being trafficked or are in need assistance are encouraged to text "HELP" to 233733 (BeFree) or call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.
